The Competition Assembly Launch

ach competition, whether STEM, Language and Literature, The Arts or Citizenship, has a whole school theme. The example materials link sports and citizenship. The launch assembly presentations follow a set format, for ease of instruction and to establish pupils’ engagement with the learning opportunities.

Each presentation outlines: The theme and objectives, The prizes available for entering at national level, The categories of entry: EYFS, KS1 and KS2. An editable ‘powerpoint’ version is also available should schools choose to use as home learning activities.
